Irritable Bowel Syndrome
Irritable bowel syndrome is characterized by abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, bloating, and alterations of bowel habits. IBS can cause discomfort, but cannot lead to cancer. Symptoms vary from patient to patient. Some people have constant symptoms, while others may have symptoms randomly. There is no cure for IBS, but there are tactics that can be used to relieve symptoms, such as dietary adjustments and medication. It can lead to chronic fatigue and pain, as it can become a draining process.
